Its alright if you have no experience with ASL however it finger spells allot of words and doesnt use proper sentence structure. True ASL will drop some regular words typically used in spoken English to save the signer repeating words like "the" allot. Needs to improve on that allot.

It crashes often. I dont think it is worth the price

idk wat u guys are talking about! This this app is the best app for learning sign language. Once u learn some words, this app teaches u how to group them in a sentence. Ive been doing sign language for 5 months and yesterday I got this app. Now I am able to speak conversations bc this app showed me how! If u really wanna learn sign language, start with THIS app!!! :D

Fingerspells almost every word Ive looked up. Im surprised at all the positive reviews. For $10 I expect more. Examples of words it fingerspells: noodle (tho it does sign noodle if you type in spaghetti), dawn, bubble, suds, koala, panda, llama...

Too much signed English. Needs more glossing. Perameters would be helpful!!!!!!!! I do like how it can change speed but needs less f.s. Plz improve this app

Ok so yes this app doesnt use proper grammar. But it does a wonderful job translating signs. And some sign is better than none. I also love that you can pinch and zoom in and out on the character. And if swivel and turn the character to better see whatever sign you want. Incredible. I would like to see more improvement in the character details. Especially his hands. That will make it much easier to see, also make the character be more fluid and natural. Then the app will be perfect! Thanks I love it!

Words like to and if are letter spelt. That should be upgraded please

I have been using this app extensively for 7 months, and it works well.. I do see a need for improvement. Maybe there can be a added feature that allows you to type in a sentence then have it translated back in sign. Most if not all sentences typed come out as English and not asl. Also some sign are not what I have been taught as in the translation classes I have taken in school. Much improvement need but a great reference for beginners.

This app is amazing! Though, it should have more features like being able to customize your character, putting in your age to show curse words, using correct ASL grammar, or changing the finger spelt words into ASL. But, other than that, its an EPIC app.

Easy to use. I dont use it super often. When I do I have no problems with using UI.

This app is fantastic and helps so much for those learning ASL. I would only hope to see some updates with more common words. It seems the guy spells a lot of my phrases out instead of using the proper signs. But I do not regret buying this app at all though! Keep up the work dev team!

Ugh!! For $10.00 Im pretty disappointed in this. Whats up with all the finger spelling??!!

Needs an expanded vocabulary. When I type a word it will present me with multiple meanings and ask me which alternate word I meant. However, if I try to skip this by just entering the alternate word then I get finger spelling. I would like a button that re-centers the avatar to default pose.

Its not just SEE thats a problem, numbers are off, as well. Bummer. Definitely check with a deaf person first, or prepare to look stupid. I agree, too many words are also finger-spelled vs. signed. Please update and fix this. I will then update my review. Ive taken ASL classes up to level 3, and this covers some material thats at a level 3, but some things in this app which are in ASL level 1 (for beginners), are missing!

This app doesnt work properly. The virtual signer keeps disappearing without signing and different parts keep disappearing.
